Healthcare that feels calm, clear and close.
HavenHealth connects patients with clinicians through a doctor directory, a short booking flow, telemedicine and a patient portal. The build spans departments, insurance verification, emergency guidance and a health library, with information architecture as the central design problem.

What needed solving
Healthcare interfaces are frequently the most stressful screens a person uses. Patients arrive anxious, often on a phone, sometimes in an emergency — and are met with clinical language, phone queues and records written for clinicians rather than for the person they describe.
The objective
Build a platform where finding the right clinician, booking a visit and understanding your own record are all short, legible tasks, and where urgent situations are directed clearly rather than buried in navigation.
How we built it
Directory built on more than credentials
Doctor profiles carry specialty, years of experience, availability and language alongside ratings, so patients can choose on fit as well as qualification.
Booking measured in a minute
Choose a specialty, pick a time, confirm — the same flow for an in-clinic visit and a video consultation, with real-time availability across clinics.
Records people can actually read
The patient portal presents a health record in plain language rather than as a clinical export.

What was delivered
A calm, low-contrast palette with open spacing and large touch targets. Departments and pathways are given room to breathe, and emergency guidance is given visual priority where it matters without alarming the rest of the interface.
The platform delivers a searchable doctor directory with availability and ratings; appointment booking across clinic and video with reminders; department and care pathways; telemedicine; emergency guidance; insurance verification before arrival; a readable patient portal; a health guidance library; and an FAQ covering the questions patients ask first.
Doctor directory
Search by specialty, availability and language, with experience and ratings shown.
Appointment booking
Real-time availability across clinics, for both in-person and video visits.
Telemedicine
Video consultations that follow the same flow as an in-clinic appointment.
Patient portal
A health record presented in language patients can follow.
Insurance verification
Check coverage before arriving rather than at the desk.
Emergency guidance
Clear direction for urgent situations, given priority in the interface.

Designed for the device it is opened on
HavenHealth was built mobile-first, with the same information hierarchy holding from a phone through to a wide desktop screen.
What this project drew on
The same capabilities are available for your own build.
