Introduction
The Revotech provides web development, ecommerce, design, mobile and maintenance services. These terms apply to your access to and use of our website, software and services.
Where we carry out a project for you, the written agreement for that engagement sets out its specific scope, timetable, fees and conditions. If anything in that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement takes precedence for that engagement.
1. Website usage
You may browse this website, read its content and contact us through it. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts in order to engage our services.
2. Our services
- We aim to keep our software and the services we host available, but technical problems do occur. We work to resolve them quickly and do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
- We continue to develop and improve what we offer, which means features may change over time. We will tell you about significant changes that affect you.
- Descriptions of services on this website are a summary. What is actually delivered on a project is defined in the agreement for that engagement.
3. Project engagements
Project work begins with a consultation and a written scope. Deliverables, timetable, fees, payment schedule, revisions, support arrangements and anything else specific to the work are agreed in writing before the work starts.
We rely on you to supply the content, assets, access and decisions a project needs. Where those are delayed, timetables move accordingly.
4. Your responsibilities
- Treat others with respect. Hate speech, discrimination and illegal activity are not permitted in connection with our services.
- You are responsible for the data you store and process in our software, and for it being lawful.
- Keep your account details accurate, and where a paid service applies, keep your payment information up to date.
- Do not attempt to hack, crack, disrupt or otherwise misuse our software or systems.
5. Intellectual property
You own the content you provide. To deliver the service, we need your permission to use and display that content in connection with the software and the work we do for you. We will be clear about this, and where an account offers preference settings you can manage it there.
Ownership of what we produce during a project, and any licence granted over it, is dealt with in the written agreement for that engagement.
6. Website content
The content of this website, including its text, design, graphics and code, belongs to The Revotech or is used with permission. Client names, logos and project imagery shown in our work remain the property of their respective owners and appear here as a record of work we carried out.
7. Third-party links and services
This website links to third-party websites and services that we do not control, including clients' websites, our social profiles and scheduling tools. We provide those links for convenience and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.
8. Payments and project terms
Where you subscribe to a paid service, keep your payment information current and your account in good standing. Fees, payment schedules and any terms about cancellation or refunds for a particular engagement are set out in the written agreement for that engagement, not on this page.
9. Prohibited use
- Interfering with, probing or attempting to gain unauthorised access to our software, systems or networks.
- Using our services to store or transmit unlawful, infringing or malicious material.
- Reselling or redistributing our services without our written agreement.
- Anything that disrupts the service for other users.
10. Disclaimer
The content of this website is provided for general information. While we work to keep it accurate and current, we do not warrant that it is complete or error-free, and it should not be relied on as advice for your particular circumstances.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses or damages arising from your use of our software or this website, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnification
You agree to hold us harmless from claims arising out of content you supply to us, or out of your use of our services in breach of these terms.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate an account where these terms are breached or our services are misused. Termination of a project engagement is governed by the written agreement for that engagement.
14. Governing law
The governing law and the forum for resolving any dispute are set out in the written agreement for your engagement. If you need to know the position before entering into an agreement, contact us and we will confirm it in writing.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, with the date it last changed shown at the top.
