Introduction

The Revotech builds and maintains websites, ecommerce stores, mobile applications and related digital services. We believe in transparency about data, and this policy is written to be read rather than skimmed past.

If anything here is unclear, or you want to know how this applies to your particular engagement with us, contact us using the details at the end of this page and we will answer directly.

1. Information we collect

We collect information in two ways: what you give us, and what is generated as you use this website. We do not buy contact data, and we do not receive information about you from data brokers or marketing list providers.

Information you provide
Your name, email address, contact details and, where a paid engagement applies, payment information you provide on our website or through our software.
Usage data
How this website is used: pages visited, how far you scroll, which call to action you followed, and the campaign or search that brought you here. Collected as described in section 4, and only with your consent where a cookie is involved.

2. Information you provide to us

The enquiry form on this website asks for your name, business email, and a description of your project. Company name, phone number, the service you are interested in and a budget range are optional. We ask for these so that we can answer your enquiry properly, and for no other reason.

Please do not send confidential credentials, passwords or payment card details through the enquiry form. If an engagement requires access to your systems, we will agree a secure method with you first.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver and improve our software and services, and to personalise your experience.
  • To send essential service updates, customer support notices and other communications you have asked for.
  • To send promotional messages where you have chosen to receive them.
  • To analyse how our software is used, diagnose issues and improve what we offer.
  • To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

4. Cookies, analytics and advertising

Essential storage is limited to what is necessary to deliver the page you requested and to remember interface preferences on your own device, including the choice you make about the cookies described below.

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand which pages are visited and how quickly they load for real visitors. Both are cookieless: they set nothing in your browser, do not track you across other websites, and report aggregate figures rather than identifying individual visitors.

We also use Google Tag Manager to load measurement and advertising technologies. Where they are enabled, these may include Google Analytics 4, the Google Ads conversion tag, the Meta pixel and the LinkedIn Insight Tag. They allow us to see which campaigns, pages and calls to action produce enquiries, to measure conversions, and to show you our advertising again on Google, Meta or LinkedIn after you have visited — which is commonly called remarketing.

  • Analytics cookies record how the site is used: pages viewed, how far you scroll, and which button produced an enquiry.
  • Advertising cookies record that you arrived from a particular campaign, allow a conversion to be attributed to it, and allow audiences to be built for remarketing.
  • Click identifiers that an ad platform adds to the link you followed — for example gclid, fbclid or li_fat_id — are read from the page address and kept with your enquiry so we can tell which campaign produced it.

These technologies are switched off until you allow them. We use Google Consent Mode v2, which starts with analytics, advertising, personalisation and functionality storage all denied, and only lifts that once you accept. If you reject non-essential cookies, none of those tags may read or write storage in your browser. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's storage in your browser, which brings the banner back.

Our hosting provider may also process standard technical information, such as IP address and request data, as part of serving and securing the site.

5. Contact forms and communications

When you submit an enquiry, the details are delivered to us so a person can read and reply to it. We use your email address to respond, and we keep the exchange so that we have a record of what was discussed and agreed.

You can ask us to stop sending promotional email at any time, either through the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.

6. Third-party services

Delivering our services involves third parties — for example hosting and infrastructure providers, and the platforms a project is built on. Where a project involves a specific third-party service, we identify it as part of that engagement rather than listing it here, because the services involved differ from project to project.

For this website specifically, the third parties that may process information about your visit are: Vercel (hosting, cookieless analytics and performance measurement), Resend (delivery of the enquiry email and its confirmation), Calendly (if you book a call), and — only if you accept non-essential cookies — Google, Meta and LinkedIn for measurement and advertising as described in section 4. Each operates under its own privacy policy.

This website links to external sites, including clients' own websites and our social media profiles. Those sites have their own privacy policies and we are not responsible for how they handle your information.

7. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where it is needed to provide our services — for example with a provider that hosts or processes data on our behalf — or where we are required to do so by law.

8. Data retention

We keep information for as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected for: to answer an enquiry, to run an engagement, and to meet our legal and record-keeping obligations afterwards. When it is no longer needed for those purposes, we remove it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

9. Data security

We take data security seriously and have measures in place to protect information against unauthorised access, disclosure or loss. No transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so while we work to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Access and update
You can view and correct the information we hold about you, either through your account settings where an account exists or by contacting us.
Communication preferences
You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any such message, or manage your preferences with us directly.
Deletion
You can ask us to delete the information we hold about you by contacting us.

Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local data protection law. Contact us and we will tell you how we can help.

11. International data transfers

We work with clients across several countries, and the infrastructure we use to deliver websites and services may be located outside your own. Where information is handled in another country as part of providing our services, we take steps to see that it remains protected to the standard described in this policy.

12. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised version on this page and change the date shown at the top, so you can see when it last changed.
